I'm a writer, director, and producer specializing in genre entertainment and independent film. I've made several shorts (animated and live action), all leading up to my first feature, Mr Misfortune.
Growing up in a sleepy Massachusetts suburb, I developed a passion for writing and film as a way to pass the time and took every opportunity in school to turn in a video in liew of an essay, eventually inspiring me to go to film school.
After graduating from Emerson College, I worked in various capacities in the entertainment industry (development intern, personal assistant, and production coordinator for A/V, print, and digital advertising).
This allowed me to learn about the business, but I didn't like being on the periphery while the pile of screenplays grew on the shelf, so I started making my own content, hoping to create my own opportunities.
In 2011, I wrote and directed Old Stud, the first of many live action shorts that I would go on to make. Each was an exercise in finding the right angle of approach to one day complete my first feature, Mr Misfortune.
I'm available to write, produce, or direct, or to function as a production consultant.
